What is the purpose of geotextile? Geotextile, also known as "geotextile", is a kind of permeable geosynthetics made of synthetic fiber as the main raw material and processed by different processes such as weaving process, weaving process and needling process. Most of these products are widely used in the fields of highway construction, water conservancy, drainage and so on.
Basic requirements for Geotextile laying:
a. The joint must intersect with the slope line; Where the slope toe is balanced or there may be stress, the distance between the horizontal joints must be greater than 1.5m.
b. On the slope, anchor one end of the geotextile, and then lay down the coiled material on the slope to ensure that the geotextile remains tensioned.
c. All geotextiles must be pressed with sand bags, which will be used during laying and retained to the upper layer of material.

Geotextile is a kind of polyester needle punched non-woven fabric, which is a permeable geotextile with three-dimensional pore structure formed by repeated needling in nonwoven process. According to different raw materials, it can be divided into staple non-woven fabric and polyester filament geotextile. The raw materials of both are polyester staple fiber or polypropylene staple fiber and polyester chip particle new material respectively. They play a great "power" in various fields such as roads, highways, railways, airport runways, embankment and slope protection.
