Geogrids are used more and more widely. Geogrid was introduced into China in the 1980s. A few years ago, I asked someone at the engineering base: "Do you know what a geogrid is?"? With the expansion of the production scale of geogrids and the improvement and innovation of geogrid production technology, geogrids have been widely used in the construction of roads and railways, some wetlands, swamps, ports and other civil engineering projects. Handling is more keen to use geogrid. Due to the function and characteristics of geogrid, it can greatly reduce the workload of civil engineering and improve the work efficiency and quality of civil engineering. Geogrid series products are becoming more and more popular.
The advantages of applying geogrid in road engineering are as follows: (1) increase the integrity of subgrade, improve the bearing capacity of subgrade and prolong its service life. (2) prevent cracking and collapse of pavement structure to ensure driving safety. (3) the construction operation is simple, which not only saves labor and labor, but also has a short construction period. (4) it can be used as grass planting mesh pad on subgrade slope to beautify the environment. (5) instead of metal mesh, it can be used for false roof mesh in coal mine.
1. After the first layer of geogrid is laid, start to fill the second layer of 0.2m thick medium (coarse) sand. The method: transport the sand to the construction site and unload it on the side of the roadbed, and then push it forward with a bulldozer. First fill 0.1m within 2m on both sides of the roadbed, then fold the first layer of geogrid and fill it with 0.1m of medium (coarse) sand. It is forbidden to fill and advance from both sides to the middle. Application of backfill in platform
