2. What is Geotextile
As the geotextile is produced by repeated needle punching, it has a three-dimensional pore structure. We are accustomed to call it the equivalent aperture. The equivalent aperture of short wire cloth is generally in the range of 0.07 to 0.2 mm, while that of filament cloth is in the range of 0.05 to 0.2 mm. Its three-dimensional structure makes it have good water permeability, so the actual user also calls it permeable geotextile.
